With our interoperation of word meanings, MetaCore means ‘metamorphosis of the center’. Metamorphosis is a very basic fact of life. Everything changes, arises, improves, dies and re-forms. In Latin, Meta is a prefix that brings the meaning of self and beyond to any word its added to. Along with the style of music, Core actually means seed and center. Metamorphosis of the center should be considered as re-forming the values we have and creating a new way of perception. Along with an improving technology, the era we live in makes impossible to discover self and to polish and share our creativity with all its wrong points of view, lifestyles and systems.
To meet with our essence (core), understand the self and look beyond it (meta), cleanse from egos and discover the beyond-core (MetaCore) will allow a new point of view and a new way of living in between of this chaotic set-up.

VA METACORE is the first compilation from MetaCortex Records with the amazing track list from killer lineup of Metacore 2019 !! Thanx to all artists for their participation and creating this experimental sounds to spread the world!

METACORE FESTIVAL

Metacore Festival organized by Metacortex Records took place between the dates of 5 – 9 June 2019 in Turkey!
We invited music lovers to this off-center, extraordinary gathering, with a line-up from the edges of Darkpsy and experimental. In this ritual that took 5 days with 30 live acts and 20 dj performances, the sonic Funktion One stage will be set up by Amygdala. Sound System & Solutions that was also allow us to listen different types of Darkpsy with Producers and Djs from all around the world.

With MetaCore Ritual, we aim to sample a new perspective and a life style, to create an alternative culture that is combined with information of the past and creativity of today, finally molded by sound along with all the other art forms shaped around music and experimantal arts.
